Connecting Peach Payments

What each Peach Payments field means, where to get it, and how to test in Sandbox before taking real golfer payments.

Updated 11/5/2026

Peach Payments lets golfers pay into their house account online through your own Peach account, in the currencies Peach supports. Only an account owner can connect it, and the money goes to your Peach account, not through PocketPass.

Before you start

You need a Peach Payments account with Peach Orchestration turned on. If you don't see Peach Orchestration in the left menu of your Peach dashboard, ask Peach Payments to enable it.

Note

Sandbox and Live each have their own keys and webhook URL. A Sandbox key won't work in Live, or the other way round.

Set it up

Open Settings → House accounts → Online top-ups, switch on Online top-ups, and choose Peach Payments.

    1. Choose an environment. Start with Sandbox. No real money moves.
    2. Connect. Paste your API key and click Connect. PocketPass checks the key, gets your webhook hash key from Peach and adds the webhook for you where it can.
    3. Turn it on. Click Use Peach Payments in Sandbox.

Ask Peach Payments for your Orchestration API key if you can't find it in your dashboard. You need one for each environment.

If it asks you to set it up by hand

PocketPass can't always do this for you. A new Peach account that hasn't made a payment yet is the most common reason, because PocketPass reads the account details it needs from a payment. Open Set up by hand and use these:

FieldWhat it isWhere to get it
Webhook hash keyProves that a payment notification really came from Peach. Peach calls it payment_response_hash_key.Ask Peach Payments for it.
Business profile IDSays which profile to use if your Peach account has more than one.Optional. Leave it blank if you only have one profile.
Webhook URLWhere Peach sends payment notifications.PocketPass shows it. Copy it into Peach: click Peach Orchestration in the left menu of your dashboard, then + Add webhook URL in the Webhooks section.
Warning

Peach also shows a secret key next to webhook URLs in some parts of its dashboard. That isn't the same as the webhook hash key.

If your webhook is already in use

Each Peach profile sends webhooks to one place. If yours already goes somewhere else, PocketPass leaves it alone and tells you, so nothing else you run stops working. Payments still confirm, but can take a few minutes. To confirm them right away, change the URL in Peach, or use a separate profile for PocketPass.

Test, then go live

Make a test top-up from the member portal and check that it appears under Recent top-ups and on the golfer's balance. If the payment succeeds in Peach but the balance doesn't change right away, check the webhook URL and hash key under Set up by hand.

When that works, connect again under Live, then click Go live on Peach Payments. Golfers then pay with real money.

Common problems

  • Key rejected: the key is wrong, or it belongs to the other environment. Check it with Peach and enter it again.
  • Peach Payments can't be selected: your merchant currency isn't one Peach takes here. Check it in Settings → Merchant.
  • Saved cards aren't available: these are switched on separately for each environment. Contact PocketPass support once your payments are working.
