Connecting Lightspeed Golf

Connect your Lightspeed Golf tee sheet so bookings flow into GolfPass and become wallet passes — the steps, what happens next, and how to fix a connection that drops.

Updated 7/27/2026

Connecting your tee sheet is the step that turns bookings into passes. If your club runs on Lightspeed Golf, this guide walks you through it and explains what to expect afterwards. You'll do this from the Integrations page.

You don't need any technical knowledge — you're signing in to Lightspeed and approving access, the same way you'd connect any two services you already use.

Before you start

  • Make sure you can sign in to your Lightspeed Golf account.
  • Ideally, do this as someone with permission to approve integrations on the Lightspeed side.

Connect it

    1. In GolfPass, go to Integrations.
    2. Choose Lightspeed Golf and start the connection.
    3. You'll be taken to Lightspeed to sign in and approve access to your tee sheet.
    4. After you approve, you're returned to GolfPass and the connection shows as active.

What happens next

As soon as the connection is active, GolfPass starts checking your tee sheet for bookings every few minutes and issuing passes automatically — you don't import anything by hand. New bookings become passes, and when a booking changes, the golfer's pass updates on its own. See How tee-sheet syncing works and Live pass updates.

Existing future bookings are picked up too, so golfers who've already booked start receiving passes shortly after you connect.

Keeping the connection healthy

A connection can fall into an error state — most often because access was changed, revoked, or expired on the Lightspeed side. While it's in error, bookings stop flowing and no new passes go out.

If your Integrations page shows Lightspeed in an error state, reconnect it from Integrations. Bookings and pass updates resume once the connection is healthy again. It's worth glancing at this page if golfers suddenly stop receiving passes.

Make sure emails are captured

GolfPass can only send a pass if the booking has the golfer's email address — that comes from Lightspeed. Check that your booking flow (online and at the desk) captures a valid email for every golfer. A booking with no email can't be emailed a pass. See The golfer didn't get the email.
