A golfer changed their tee time, but their pass still shows the old one. Don't worry — the cause is almost always one of four everyday things. Work through them in order and you'll find it.
The checklist
- Did the change actually save in your tee sheet? Open the booking in ChronoGolf or Lightspeed Golf and confirm the new details are really there. GolfPass can only show what your tee sheet shows — if the change didn't save, there's nothing to push.
- Has enough time passed? Updates aren't instant. GolfPass checks your tee sheet every few minutes and the change reaches the phone on the next cycle. Give it a few minutes. See How tee-sheet syncing works.
- Is the integration healthy? Open the Integrations page. If the connection shows an error, syncing is paused and nothing updates — reconnect it. See Connecting Lightspeed Golf or Connecting ChronoGolf.
- Did a visible field change? GolfPass updates the details shown on the pass (time, course, name). If you changed something the pass doesn't display, the pass won't appear to change — that's expected.
Most of the time, it's timing
If the change is saved and the integration is healthy, the answer is almost always patience — the pass refreshes quietly on the next cycle and the golfer doesn't need to do anything. See Live pass updates.
Prompting a refresh on the golfer's phone
If a golfer is standing in front of you and wants to see the new details immediately:
- On iPhone: open the pass in Wallet and pull down on it to prompt a refresh.
- On Android: open the pass in Google Wallet; it refreshes over the air.
A quick decision guide
| What you see | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Change made seconds ago, pass unchanged | Timing | Wait a few minutes |
| Change made a while ago, still nothing | Integration error, or change didn't save | Check Integrations and the booking |
| Some passes update, one doesn't | That one booking | Re-check that specific booking's details |
