GolfPass gives every golfer who books at your club a digital pass that lives on their phone — in Apple Wallet on iPhones and Google Wallet on Android phones. The pass shows their tee time and check-in code, carries your club's branding, and updates itself whenever the booking changes.
The goal is simple: replace paper confirmations, printed tickets, and "what time was I booked again?" phone calls with something the golfer already has in their pocket.
The big idea: there's no app
This is the part most clubs find surprising. Golfers do not download anything. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are already built into every modern phone. The golfer taps one button in an email and the pass appears in their wallet. That's the whole setup.
No app store, no account to create, no password. That's why golfers actually use it — the friction that normally kills "download our app" simply isn't there.
How it works, start to finish
- You connect your tee sheet. GolfPass links to your existing booking system — ChronoGolf or Lightspeed Golf. You keep taking bookings exactly as you do today.
- GolfPass watches for bookings. Every few minutes it checks your tee sheet for new and changed reservations. You don't import anything or press a button.
- A pass is created and emailed. For each booking, GolfPass builds a wallet pass and emails the golfer a link to add it to their phone.
- The golfer taps to add it. One tap and the pass is in their wallet, ready for the round.
- It stays current on its own. If the tee time moves or the booking changes, the pass on the golfer's phone updates automatically — no new email, no re-download.
What's on a pass
Each pass carries the details that matter for the round:
- The golfer's name
- The course and tee time
- A scannable code (QR or barcode) your team can use at check-in
- Your club's logo and colours
